• Automated text message appointment reminders. Turn on/enable via Application
  Preferences.  
• SMS message templates in Company Preferences. 
• Ability to manually send text reminder messages for all upcoming, eligible, appointments available through PetExec.  
• Ability to resend any SMS message. 
• Last SMS date displays in owner menu and Modify Owner. 
• SMS logs for all company texts and by specific owners.

Usage charges for packmates on the $10 a month plus usage plan

Twilio is the provider we use for texting services. They charge for each segment and/or image  sent/received. PetExec will pass on these usage charges to the customer/packmate, so that each of  our customers/packmates pay for what they use rather than an average cost. It is simply a pass through cost that will be added to your monthly subscription without any additional markup.

Table 1 shows the current rates for Twilio which can be used to estimate usage costs based on your  business location and practices. Twilio controls rate changes, so they are subject to change.  

Note that images and multiple segments impact the price. 1 segment is approximately 143  characters. Usage costs can be managed by limiting the size of the messages.

How is the billing managed?

Unlimited Texting

The fee for the Unlimited plan will be billed monthly along with the PetExec subscription. This fee provides you with the features described above and covers the cost of the phone number purchased for messaging.

$10 a month plus usage (formerly Pet Snaps Messaging)*

If you are on the $10 a month plus usage plan, the usage charges will be calculated for your individual business and billed monthly along with the PetExec subscription.

* $10 a month plus usage plan is only available to those previously enrolled in Pet Snaps Messaging (prior to March 9, 2023) and Australian packmates grandfathered into this subscription.

A "Month to Date" chart is included in the SMS Log to provide the usage costs incurred since the  beginning of the month. At the end of the month, those charges will be totaled and added to the  following month’s subscription bill if you are on the $10 month plus usage plan. The SMS log can be used to track those charges. Below is an example of the SMS Log showing this information.

How to cancel your texting feature.

If you wish to turn your texting feature off, please notify billing@petexec.net and we will cancel the service.  Please allow 30 days for the fee to be canceled. The monthly fee is non-refundable, regardless of  whether the feature is used. Actual usage charges (for those on $10 a month plus usage plan) incurred are the sole responsibility of the purchaser of the service. No refunds will be given on the usage charges if applicable.

All text, images, graphics, formatting (including without limitation the selection, coordination  and arrangement of materials on the Site, and the "look and feel" of the Site), animation, videos,  music, sounds, articles, copy, creative, trademarks, logos, and subsidiary, parent, or affiliate company  names and other materials on this Site are subject to the intellectual property rights of PetExec.net, the Unlimited Texting services, its subsidiaries and affiliates, and their respective licensors and  licensees. These materials may not be copied for commercial use, reverse engineered, decompiled, or  disassembled, nor may these materials be modified, reposted to other websites, framed, deep linked  to, or otherwise redistributed in any form unless written approval is obtained from the right holders  and/or their representatives.  

International copyright laws give the PetExec.net copyright holders the exclusive right to  control the use of the works, content and media posted on our website. All the material published on  our website and other digital and wireless platforms is protected by copyright law. The PetExec.net Unlimited Texting content is also protected as a database by way of database rights. This  intellectual property may not be used or reproduced without our express written permission. Use that  is made without our consent is a breach of our terms and conditions, is a breach of contract, and  violates copyright laws.  

Some of the PetExec.net Unlimited Texting artworks are licensed under a Creative Commons  License which means that you can use our artworks in any project, publicly accessible web site, web  application or any form of presentation publicly accessible through the Internet only according to the  PetExec.net Unlimited Texting Terms and Conditions.  

As a user of the PetExec Site, you are allowed to view our content for your personal use on any  device that is compatible with PetExec.net (this might be your PC, Mac, laptop, smart phone, tablet or  other mobile device) and store our content on that device for your personal use only. Users may not  copy PetExec.net content from PetExec.net; manipulate, modify, alter, crop, create derivative works of PetExec.net artworks. You may not sell the PetExec.net artworks; license, redistribute, license,  assign, lease, convey or transfer PetExec.net; or offer the PetExec.net Unlimited Texting downloads  in their present form or in a modified form to any third party.

If PetExec.net notifies you that it believes you are creating, redistributing or republishing  content or data in a manner outside the permitted use, you shall immediately cease doing so and  remove all infringing content, unless/until PetExec.net reaches an agreement with you regarding your  use of PetExec.net content, articles, data or other material published by PetExec.net. You may not  scrape PetExec.net and republish the content by any means.

SYSTEM INTEGRITY  

You may not use any hardware or software intended to damage or interfere with the proper  and timely functioning of the Site or to surreptitiously intercept any system, data or personal  information from the Site. You may not take any action, which imposes an unreasonable or  disproportionately large load on the Site's network or other infrastructure.

LINKING & THIRD PARTY SITES  

The Site may contain links to other websites that are completely independent of this Site.  PetExec.net is not responsible for the accuracy, content, or authenticity of the information or content  contained in any such linked web Site, or for the products or services offered or sold through any such linked webSite. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Use and your use of the Site shall be governed, construed, interpreted and  performed exclusively by the laws of the state of Delaware without application of the principles of  conflicts of law. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the  state of Delaware in the United States of America.

SURVIVAL

All provisions in these Terms of Use regarding representations and warranties, indemnification,  disclaimers and limitations on liability shall survive any termination of these Terms of Use. Should any  part or provision of these Terms of Use be held unlawful, void, invalid or unenforceable, that portion  shall be deemed severable from these Terms of Use and shall not affect the validity and enforceability  of any remaining provisions.
