Stripe Processing

PetExec now offers the option to pass the Stripe credit card surcharge fees onto your pet owners. This new feature is available to all providers who are integrated with Stripe card processing. The applicable Stripe processing rates will be used for our US, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand packmates.

If you are not integrated with Stripe card processing, please contact our support team via chat or techsupport@petexec.net for steps on how to get set up.

How it works:

During order processing when a payment type is set to Credit, fees are calculated based on the credit card payment method used and included in the total amount processed through Stripe.
- Card present transactions processed through the WisePosE payment terminal.
- Card not present transactions processed with a card on file or a manually entered credit card.
Fees are also displayed on the pet owner receipt

Packmates can enable and disable this feature using an application preference within PetExec.

The following exclusions apply:

Debit card or prepaid transactions are excluded from credit card surcharge fees.
All transactions placed through the owner portal or mobile app.
Packmates in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, and Puerto Rico as surcharge fees are unavailable in those states.

PetExec recommends you notify your pet owners of your intent to add these processing fees to orders. Provided here are some recommended credit card fee notices that can be printed and posted in your business.

Packmates are responsible for following local, state, and federal laws applicable to credit card surcharges, such as providing adequate notice to your customers about the surcharge. PetExec shall not be liable or responsible if your business fails to comply with applicable laws. Please consult with your legal counsel if you have any questions.

Features for Multiple Locations

Batch report delivery for multiple locations
‍Packmates who have multiple facility locations can generate and download selected reports from single login for all grouped locations.

How to access Multiple Location Reports:
From the menu→reports→Multiple Location reports Select the locations you would like to include in the report download. Select the report type: ‍

Billing Report - Comprehensive report of order data in PetExec
Owner Report - Pet owner data
Pet Report - Pet data

The reports selected will be exported and can be downloaded on your device.

Select locations to include in the report delivery
Select report type
Select date range or type of report
Click Generate Report

Multi-location toggle
Once grouped, packmates can link employee records between locations to allow staff to toggle between locations. Linking employees will allow a staff member to quickly move from the current location they are signed into, to another connected location for your business.

When an employee is linked they will be able to toggle their login between associated locations without having to enter username and passwords multiple times.
When an employee toggles to an associated location they will have the permissions associated with the employee type of the employee record for that location.
Employees will continue to have a unique employee record, username and password for each location. When an employee toggles between locations, all sessions in the current login and browser will be ended and they are only able to access the data for the location they are logging into.

Email Header Images

A new collection of 100 high-res images have been added to the header image library The suite includes a variety of images that cover all four seasons, holidays throughout the year, and evergreen images for use in messages to clients.

Using the new dropdown menu in the header image library, packmates can browse images by category.

Note:If new images are saved to a template, packmates will not be able to go back to the old images.‍
